floor lamps - an explanation of floor lamps

Floor lamps have similar characteristics to table lamps and it’s often possible to get matching floor and table lamps.

Floor lamps work well in a lighting scheme as they can be easily moved, and don’t need to be sat on a surface in the same way as a table light. They’re also an effective way of varying the height of light within a lighting scheme.
