Unique Marimekko design in red and white with a hint of black. Fatboy is a brand that stands for quality and originality; Marimekko Corporation is a leading Finnish textile and clothing design company that was established in 1951.

Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had publicly said that Marimekko would not print floral designs. In her opinion, natural flowers were so beautiful that they should not be used as motifs on fabrics. Maija Isola, however, refused to accept any rules and restrictions. She suprised Armi Ratia by drawing and painting a series of exuberant floral patterns, one of which was Unikko.

The Fatboy Marimekko is made from a practical and easy to clean nylon material with a special coating, a rub with a damp cloth is sufficient to keep it looking new.
