The basic number of rolls required for your room can be calculated by measuring the room and then using our
wallpaper roll calculator.
There are then various factors that can effect the final number of rolls required.
Pattern repeats If the wallpaper design you choose has a pattern repeat you need to allow for the unaviodable waste when cutting rolls so they match next to each other. It is suggested to allow at least 10% extra paper for pattern matching.
Windows & Doors Where there are windows and doors in the room you will of course not need wallpaper for those areas, however you never get wallpaper edges to match the edges of doors so these areas will usually cut into whole drops. It can therefore be easier to not adjust for windows and doors, but you will be able to judge this better than us.
Having a spare roll to cover mishaps in calculations, hanging or patching in the future is a good idea.
